CHALLENGE

Conveyor equipment OEM required a guide rail component with DIN 53516 abrasion loss <100mm³, dimensional stability under continuous 80°C ambient temperature, and 6-month minimum maintenance interval.

OUR SOLUTION

Selected Ether-based TPU 95A compound for optimal hydrolysis and abrasion resistance. Optimized mold gating and cooling for <0.3mm warpage. Validated DIN 53516 abrasion loss and creep at 80°C.

RESULT

DIN 53516 abrasion loss 68mm³ (target <100mm³). Warpage 0.22mm over 500mm length. Zero replacement required across 8-month field validation.
